About Favela

Hi, I’m Arvid and I do freelance web design and development.

I have a background spanning both technology (M. Sc.) and marketing (Ba.) but more importantly: I love web design.

I create well thought out designs, with a strong focus on usability and a great attention to detail. I have a good understanding of grid systems and typography, and I read web design tutorials just for fun. My designs have been featured on several design inspiration sites, including Designm.ag, Vandelay Design, Speckyboy, Blogdesignheroes, Foliofocus, Cssdsgn, W3Wall, weloveCSS, Designfridge, VannyNeo & Colorgorize.

Making design that work for you

Although looking good on the outside may be important, equally important is looking good behind the scenes. I tend to credit myself for being as good a developer as a designer, and I take good pride in making sure that web sites are easy to use for both your customers and you.

Besides Favela, I work as a Art Director (Web) at the Uppsala based digital agency Animech, and DJ as a part of the duo IOU.
